figured it out

I have been having a major catastrophe and no matter what i tried to do, i just cant seem to get it all figured out. The problem was after Kya helped me out with the account transfer to the new domain i purchased, i had to transfer all my files from my old account to the current one. Later, after i created the databases and restoring the last databases with the Enthusiast (its a fanlisting collective management script), i had troubles getting it to show up the images.

Finally, Kya gave me the solution rather quick. She's an awesome host i tell ya'! I didnt get the settings quite right in the Enthusiast. I kinda forgot the include the trailing slash(/)

a 7th fanlist [under construction]

Heeding to my childhood friend's opinion on creating a fanlist for the amazing movie that rocked the charts at Chennai, Tamilnadu, India; where i live, i've collected some pictures for the layout.

the sketches are all done and ready to be designed digitally.

more updates to come.

awaiting change of plans

Kya of bubble.nu has been awesome and has changed my plans and now, she's also agreed to my 2nd request. As i've purchased a domain this month, i've had a word with Kya and she said me she had to create another account and further update my information. Now all i have to do is backup all my files onto my HD and wait for her to transfer my account or create another one for my new domain.

Kya is a wonderful host and takes care of her hostees very well. i recommend whom evr wants to be hosted and have fun building and designing websites because thats why Kya's here in the first place.

So, if you are looking for a host, then Bubble.nu is the right and a far more better place for you.

layout rejuvanated

the layout i'm currently using for my collective was actually meant for the purpose of offering for free download at Day Dream Graphics
. But then as i hastily started to work on that layout, i had to encounter some common tables problem i always have. then i realized that i have to change the layout accordingly for a collective kinda site. so then i worked out some changes using Adobe Photoshop CS2 and finally got it all figured out; simple yet awesome. well, at least it did to me ^_^

anyhow, i'm now transferring the files and the images after working out the snippets for the collective management script i installed-ENTHUSIAST.

5 feathers on my cap

finally, after 4 months of perseverance and dedication and also small amounts of insane luck, i got myself into making my very own fanlisting sites. not 1, not 2 but 5 of 'em. i mean i still cant believe it. ever since i started laying my eyes on those fanlisting sites for various subjects of the individual's likings, i always fancied myself owning one. it was about 3 years ago, i was still making some designs to be given out for download in DDR
. i knew i had to perfect my designs even more better so i spent the next 2 years perfecting my web-designing abilities and it sure did turnout good. the designs i made for others even won in some competitions. i couldn't personally go for the competition because i was in the commerce departments and i had to make 'em for my friends who were in the multimedia field and they provided me with great motivation. packing with great zeal and enthusiasm from the mentioned motivation, i got myself into applying for my 1st fanlisting site.

And yeah, if you don't know what A fanlisting is, its a small site that collects a list of fans for a particular subject. Everything except Anime and manga related subjects are listed
and regulated under The Fanlistings Network. For anime and manga fanlisting, visit The Anime Fanlistings Network.

Now that we covered on that topic, lets get down to my 5 feathers.
